Whether you’re holding The Wellbeing Journey in a sports club, a church hall, in your home or online it’s easy to get started.
Where and when
Agree a venue / digital platform and the start date and timePlan publicity
Publicise the series using the wellbeing booklet especially designed to go with the series and to be handed out to introduce the course.
Provide your church and youth group members with printed invitations to give to friends. Personal invitations have the most impact.
Send details to your local media – download a sample press release to use
Put up posters at your local sports centre, gym, schools, colleges and community buildings.
Get talking
Talk about The Wellbeing Journey with friends, neighbours, colleagues and familyMention the series in sermons and at events
Involve the whole church – all ages - encourage everyone to join the journey and bring a friend
Recruit the team
Pray as you prepare together to welcome guests on the journeyFor an online Wellbeing Journey make sure you work out any technical challenges in advance, so your guests can watch the films and use breakout rooms.
For face-to-face sessions, get your hosts / group leaders together and pray through the series, decide who will host breakout groups and arrange any catering
Use the downloadable Leaders’ Guide to help run the sessions (available by 10 January).
